"As i was looking for tracks for our monthly Kneautwilg radioshow i jumped into my cdr collection and stumbled upon a pile of those mini-cdr's so fashionable in the first decade of this century. Without prelistening i played it on the show resulting in juvenile state of enthusiasm. The hints towards a young Dead C are there, sure. But it sounded different: maybe younger, wilder. So who else can make such a nz guitar assault? I should have known the answer being a long time CJA/Futurians fan. Sure enough this lo-fi-sludge gem delivered in a giant Ideal Gus way. Slowly stomping its way through a highway strangled with noisy guitar outbursts, deep grinding rhythms and hidden melodies drenched in a crater of mud and feedback. True punk Knotwilg style quoi. So here you have it, a reissue with the original tracks from that mini-cdr + unreleased tracks from the same session.
