AliMed® Pediatric Dynamic Foot Stabilizer™ (DFS™) can uniquely control the position of the rear foot. The pediatric foot has more fat and soft tissue in proportion to bone. At this developmental stage, control is most easily achieved with an external device. As a child matures through adolescence, symptoms such as heel pain and arch strain develop.
