Alison's is a well-rounded flavoured garlic: strong and also sweet . This is a rocambole variety and the bulbs are shaped more like teardrops, with beautiful pink, purple and white striping. The cloves are extra small to medium size in each bulb, with 6-10 cloves per bulb. The skins are looser than other varieties which make them easier to peel. If a large garlic bulb and cloves are intimidating to you, this is the variety for you. Rocamboles are doing better for us in the field than in previous years, but we would not recommend this variety as a beginner planting garlic. You can expect a storage life of 4-6 months in the right conditions. Priced in 1 pound increments. Show more
