Alize Diva 109 is Lemon Yellow in the citrus-zest sense: a sharp yellow that tips towards green, closer to lime peel than to butter. It is the brightest note in the Diva palette and works hardest as an accent against the greys, navies and browns elsewhere in the line.Composition is 100% microfiber acrylic, 100 grams (3.53 ounces) per ball with 383 yards (350 meters) of fingering-weight yarn, a 30 stitch gauge over 4 inches, a 3.5 mm (E) hook and US 1.5-4 needles. Striped market bags, colour-blocked baby cardigans and crocheted flower motifs all use that punch well.The strand has almost no halo, so single crochet fabric comes out dense and smooth rather than fuzzy. Machine wash on a cool gentle cycle and reshape damp; the fibre dries quickly and does not fade in sunlight.
