In an emergency avoidance manoeuvre such as suddenly swerving to avoid a car or animal on the road ahead, you need total control as quickly as possible. In this situation, AL-KO ESC brakes all wheels on the caravan simultaneously as soon as a dangerous sideways movement is detected by the lateral acceleration sensors inside the AL-KO ESC unit. The caravan brakes are held on to wipe off speed and stopping distance in the shortest possible time to allow the driver to maintain control.
