This comforter is filled with Premium Eco Wool sourced from a co-op of small sheep farmers in the western US and encased in 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton sateen. Our cotton is grown in India, then milled and finished in a GOTS-certified facility in Pakistan. Never bleached or dyed, our fabric is naturally soft and durable. None of our wool is ever carbonized or bleached, and sheep dipping is never practiced. Items must be unused, unwashed and in the original packaging to qualify for a full refund. If your item has been used, you are still eligible to receive a one-time exchange for an item of equal or lesser value as long as it is within the 30-day window. That's why you may notice the mild sweet scent of sunny farm pastures when you receive your new wool product. The wool retains 1% of the naturally occurring lanolin oil, which helps condition the fibers and keep them fluffy and soft for years to come. Most customers find the scent dissipates within a few days. At end of life, this comforter is made of 100% natural materials that can be composted. Packaging: This product ships in a sturdy cardboard box secured with paper tape. We don't use plastic wrap or synthetic packing materials in the box. If you'd like a little extra protection, you can request your product be placed inside a biodegradable bag before boxing. As a handmade item, please allow a lead time for production.
