Perfect for any occasion, this smooth all-white design works for every celebration. You are welcome to leave this classic design as is, or you are welcome to place any additional i tems to tie into the theme of your event. Contrary to what the eye sees, a smooth cake is one of the hardest cakes for us to make. Icing comes out of the mixer a whipped, airy mess. We have to take that icing, apply it to the cake and smooth out all the natural imperfections. When there is detail on the cake, these imperfections do not stand out. When all the decor is removed, the imperfections are easier to see, which means we have to take more time to diminish them. Show more
