When the Tide Rolls Out (Part two of limited series), 2024 Inspired by a longing for the coast, spending hours exploring tide pools and all of the life that exists within them, thr iving even when the moon has pulled the tide far out to sea. These pieces take you in for a closer look at the magic that can be found within tide pools, admiring the resilience of the creatures and plant life that cling onto these pockets of water between the rocks; inspiring us to be still for a moment, look a little closer, and appreciate these secret ecosystems. Each piece has been carefully burned to breathe life into every detail that can be found within the piece. This limited series consists of two pieces that can live together or separately, but if they both go to the same home and are installed together, you will notice they have been intentionally designed so that they are a continuation of each other. When the Tide Rolls Out is an original pyrography on a 23.5" x 13.5" inch live edge birdseye maple burl, accented with genuine copper leaf that has been partially oxidized with a green patina solution. This piece has been sealed with non-toxic, water-based polycrylic to ensure the integrity of the artwork and the wood. Included with the artwork is a keyhole hook installed onto the back, as well as a hand-signed Certificate of Authentication from the artist. Free shipping internationally on all original work.
