The top film is highly breathable, reducing the risk of maceration in the wound and surrounding areas. Allevyn Ag Adhesive Dressings are used to treat a variety of wound types, including shallow granulating wounds, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, infected wounds, surgical wounds, burns, donor sites, and fungating wounds. They feature a combination of Allevyn’s tri-layer construction along with silver's antibacterial properties, which has been proven effective against a wide range of germs, including antibiotic-resistant strains, for up to 7 days.
