A Chinese rhizomatous type flowering with fresh green foliage when flowering rather than the Great Withering as with bulbous species. Small heads of yellow flowers on 10"-15" stems set in a comparatively statuesque frame (comparing to Allium moly here) sets this apart from its yellow compatriots.
