The Allium 'Ostara' is a striking allium with intense umbels of purple-red flowers that extrude from the top of a tall flower spike. The Ostara produces its beautiful blooms in lat e spring through to summer. The allium does best when planted later in the year from September to December. The Allium 'Ostara' does best when planted about 10cm deep in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny area of the garden.
