The schubertii allium has extremely large blooms—up to 14"!—with small, reddish-purple flowers that blooms in May to June. Carefree and rewarding, they will tolerate poor garden so il, and once established, they will naturalize easily. Alliums are deer resistant and make excellent cut flowers.
