Allotments by Patrick Zachmann brings together photographs made in the community gardens of Seine-Saint-Denis between 1994 and 1995. Commissioned by the Seine-Saint-Denis Departmen tal Council, Zachmann documented the allotments cultivated by working-class residents living on the outskirts of Paris, many of whom came from rural regions of France, Portugal, Italy, and Spain.
