Allow the candle to burn until the melted wax pool reaches the edges of the vessel, then extinguish the flame and allow the candle to cool completely. Before subsequent burns, trim the wick to approximately 1/4". Avoid trimming the wick too short, as this may result in a weak flame or cause the candle to burn improperly. For best performance, burn for no more than 3–4 hours at a time, then extinguish and allow the wax to cool completely before relighting. Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
