Hambleton Wood, Hambleton Peninsular, Rutland in winter on a grey day. A significant feature of Rutland Water is the foot/cycle path that goes all the way around it. This path is m ade from different materials and goes through woodland, open grassland, hills and over the dam. At this point in Hambleton Wood, the trees overhang the path and in the winter sunshine formed an almost lace archway under which we walked. The silhouettes of the trees were bathed in the winter sun. Show more
