Alora Hops for Peach, Apricot, Melon, and Citrus Alora hops are U.S.-grown T-90 pellets from Hopsteiner for brewers who want a modern fruit-forward hop without the usual grapefruit-only citrus profile. Hopsteiner describes Alora around peach, apricot, sweet melon, and yuzu-like citrus, with unusual oil chemistry that makes it interesting for expressive late-hop and dry-hop work. Use Alora when the recipe needs bright stone fruit and melon character in IPA, hazy IPA, pale ale, blonde ale, wheat beer, or hop-forward lager. It can lead a softer fruit-focused hop bill, or it can round out sharper citrus and tropical hops when you want more depth. Flavor and brewing use Primary notes: peach, apricot, sweet melon, and yuzu-like citrus. Best use: late kettle additions, whirlpool additions, hop stands, and dry hopping. Recipe fit: IPA, hazy IPA, pale ale, blonde ale, wheat beer, and hop-forward lager. Process note: use the alpha acid printed on the package for IBU calculations because crop values vary by lot. Recipe planning notes For the clearest aroma, keep most Alora additions on the late side of the process and protect the beer from oxygen after dry hopping. Pair it with Citra, Mosaic, Krush, or other fruit-forward hops when the goal is a layered modern IPA profile. For more recipe options, browse pellet hops, hops for brewing, and brewing ingredients.
