Final Polishing for Marble, Terrazzo and Granite Floors Alpha® Advantage Final Polish Discs are the final stage of the Alpha Advantage System, producing a deep glossy reflection on marble, terrazzo, and granite floors. The discs provide consistent final polishing results and are available in Black for dark-colored stone and White for light-colored stone. Tin Oxide and Natural Fiber Polishing Disc Each disc combines tin oxide and natural fibers that are heat compressed into a hard disc with a thick needle-shaped pattern. The polishing process requires only a small amount of water to allow the discs to traverse the floor, providing a straightforward final polishing method without the use of dangerous chemicals. 3-1/2" Hook and Loop Discs for the AFP-300 The 3-1/2" discs feature hook and loop backing for attachment to the AFP-300's 17" driver pad. A minimum of three discs is required for proper operation, while six discs are recommended for best results. The discs are designed for long life and can polish even difficult granite surfaces. Black and White Discs for Stone Color Black Final Polish Discs are intended for dark-colored stone, while White Final Polish Discs are intended for light-colored stone. For unique finishes on black granite, the Black disc can be used first followed by the White disc as the final polishing sequence.
