Thread the Alpha® diamond core bit onto the 5/8"-11 female end of the extender. Install the included pilot carbide drill bit and screw to stabilize the start of the cut. Insert the SDS-Plus shank into the drill chuck and confirm a positive lock. Start drilling at low to moderate RPM with light, even pressure; do not apply hammer action. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear dust; vacuum the bore for dry coring.
