Snail Lock Adapter for Hook & Loop Polishing Pads The Alpha® Hook & Loop Backed Snail Lock Adapter connects hook-and-loop polishing pads to compatible Snail Lock polishing systems. The adapter provides a rigid backing surface to support the polishing pad during stone polishing while maintaining the convenience of hook-and-loop pad attachment. Quick Polishing Pad Changes The hook-and-loop backing allows compatible polishing pads to be attached and removed without changing the Snail Lock connection to the polishing equipment. This setup makes it easier to switch between compatible pads during multi-step stone polishing processes. 4", 5" and 6" Adapter Sizes The adapter is available in 4", 5", and 6" sizes for matching different polishing pad diameters and application requirements. All three sizes use a Snail Lock attachment and are rated for operation at speeds up to 2,000 RPM.
