This backlit OEM Alpha JX Remote is perfect for replacing the remote control that came with your Alpha JX bidet seat. Recently upgraded with a backlight, this remote control is backwards compatible with any previously sold Alpha JX model by simply changing the program. Instructions will be included with the remote control. There were 3 generations of the Alpha JX: "J1" - Original JX: pre-2024 and does not include the Bowl Mist feature. The original remote's STOP button will be a solid red square. "J2" - JX2: starting mid 2024 the JX2 includes the Bowl Mist feature and the silver sticker on the rear of the seat will say JX2 instead of JX. The original remote's STOP button will be a red outlined square. "J3" - (current) JX2 with Backlight: starting mid 2026, this remote control has a difference appearance, is backlit and also has user presets. NOTE: The newest remote control with backlight is backwards compatible with the original JX and JX2. However, the user preset feature will not work with the older models. Only JX2 seats that included the backlit remote control can use the user preset feature. The Bowl Mist feature will be available to all JX2 models, but not the original JX. This remote control with backlight will include instructions on how to change the programming to match your JX version.
