Diamond Wheel for Brick Re-Pointing and Flash Installation The Alpha® Tuck Point Wheel is a 4" segmented diamond wheel designed for brick re-pointing and flash installation. Its aggressive cutting performance removes abrasive mortar from masonry joints while the 6.0mm thickness provides the cutting width needed for tuck pointing applications. Hard-Bond Segment for Abrasive Mortar The segmented wheel uses a very hard bond formulated to withstand the abrasive mortar encountered in brick and masonry work. This combination provides aggressive cutting and long service life for masons, restoration contractors, and brick re-pointers performing repeated mortar removal. Wet or Dry Cutting with Dust Control Compatibility The wheel can be used wet or dry and is compatible with 4" grinders using its supported arbor configurations. For dry applications, it can be paired with the Alpha Ecoguard Type W5 and a vacuum to provide virtually dust-free operation.
