Alphacool's new quick disconnect coupling sets have been newly developed for safety reasons. For this reason, these couplings do not have a "click" mechanism but are screwed on wit h a type of union nut. This means that the couplings can no longer be accidentally unlocked. By installing these couplings, the flow is only slightly or not at all affected. When unlocked, both sides of the coupling seal completely. There is a 1/4" thread on both sides. This means that connections of all sizes can be used.
