Unlike traditional cooling units, the ExtraCool requires no ice and is completely maintenance-free. It operates using an advanced rotary micro-compressor, delivering the same cooling power as systems five times its size. The high-efficiency vapor compression technology provides consistent cooling down to 1.6°C, keeping drivers comfortable and preventing heat stress during intense stints. For even greater performance in high-heat cabins, we offer an optional 3D-printed air duct that allows fresh air to be drawn from outside, further enhancing cooling efficiency during long races. Designed as a self-contained, plug-and-play system, the ExtraCool comes with all required wiring, hoses, and connectors, making installation seamless. Sealed with refrigerant, it draws 18-22 amps, depending on installation and ambient conditions. Weighing under 7kg, it’s compact, portable, and includes a remote-control function for seamless operation. Note: A cool suit is not included, but the ExtraCool is compatible with various brands of cooling suits.
