Speaker Size: Because the grilles are removable, the SPS-M601 fits many car/truck applications. As the size applies to car installations, they are both 6-1/2 and 6-3/4 speakers. The 5" cutout required matches the 6-1/2 standard, but the 6.652" frame diameter is bigger than most 6-3/4 models. There are two sets of screw holes in the flange, one matching the 6-3/4 standard, the other a symmetrical four hole 6-1/2 pattern.
