A PU-reinforced microfiber upper for flexibility, abrasion resistance, water-resistance, and weight savings, and this material ensures a consistent fit while being easy to maintain and clean. The buckle closure system incorporates polymer buckles combined with a high-impact aluminum frame for durability and weight savings, and a quick release locking system with self-aligning design for easy, precise closure, and improved riding performance and security. Alpinestars loaded the Tech 7 Enduro Boots with protection features, taking the "no detail too small" approach. Extensive TPU protection on the toes, foot, heel, ankle, calf, and shin, with extra durable compounds on the toe box and heel to further bolster impact resistance. Contoured shin and ankle protectors for excellent levels of impact and abrasion resistance, while soft reinforcements on the ankles for long lasting comfort and shock absorption. The front flexion is supported and enhanced with a progressive design, featuring shock-absorbing inserts in the front bellow for optimum performance. The medial-facing side incorporates a TPU panel with specially designed sculpturing for maximum grip contact with the bike and improved heat and abrasion resistance.
