The ACI Thermowell Series comes in various lengths and materials. The standard material is 304 stainless steel which ensures long lasting reliability and stability. They are also o ffered in Monel which is ideal for marine, or salt water, applications. The entire series is miled to high tolarence so there is a negligible gap between the thermowell sheath and probe. This provides maximum heat transfer when used with a corresponding ACI sensor. For fabricated thermowells, the shealth is set into the nut and then automated TIG welded from its own material to provide the strongest possible joint.
