Due to the standard size of electrical junction boxes (J-boxes) in the US and Canada (typically 4 inches wide), the wall light will not fully cover the J-box. To resolve this, we include a complimentary 12cm (Dia) back plate that can be used to cover the J-box during installation. This is not a defect, but rather a design consideration for homes with J-boxes larger than the light base. Optional Back Plate Use: For a minimalist look, the back plate is entirely optional and can be omitted if you prefer the clean, flush appearance shown in most product photos. If the J-box is visible, the back plate can be used to ensure a seamless installation and cover any exposed gaps. Driver Placement: For the dimmable version, the thyristor dimming driver & DALI dimmable driver should be placed outside the canopy for optimal performance.
