Alyogyne heugelii East Coast Gem is a fast-growing, compact native with near year-round flowers of silky dark purple/mauve. It has a main flush from spring through autumn producing a stunning display of purple over a long period. Hardy and quick growing with an upright habit, Alyogyne East Coast Gem is commonly known as the native hibiscus with its furred green foliage providing the perfect backdrop for these colourful flowers. This evergreen shrub can be used in many situations including an informal hedge/screening or in native gardens. Soil: Adaptable to most well-drained soils. Conditions: Full sun to partial shade.
