Featuring organically shaped blue pearls, these earrings are inspired by my travels to Okinawa in Japan, with Ama meaning “sky” in old Japanese. Vast and luminous, the southern ski es of Okinawa unfold differently from those of other cities, open, intense, and quietly overwhelming. This earring reflects that distinctive atmosphere. The pearls evoke falling rain and drifting mist, moments that give rise to rainbows, capturing the fleeting interplay of light, air and water suspended in motion.
