Product Description Brushing glazes may be altered to achieve the consistency of dipping and pouring glazes with the simple addition of distilled water and AMACO® SuspendAid. This specially formulated mixture is also designed to help prevent the settling of glazes, especially ones to which additional water has been added.Water is sometimes added to a glaze to obtain a more subtle shade of the color or to facilitate a different type of application besides brushing. Settling of the glaze is often the consequence. AMACO® SuspendAid, when added to these glazes, can help prevent hard settling and fulfill application requirements. Safety Warning Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
