An additive that helps resist settling of glazes and also alters brushing glazes to achieve the consistency needed for dipping. Brushing glazes may be altered to achieve the consis tency of dipping and pouring glazes with the simple addition of water and AMACO® SuspendAid. This specially formulated mixture is also designed to help prevent the settling of glazes, especially ones to which additional water has been added. Water is sometimes added to a glaze to obtain a more subtle shade of the color or to facilitate a different type of application besides brushing. Settling of the glaze is often the consequence. AMACO® SuspendAid, when added to these glazes, can help prevent hard settling and fulfill application requirements. Show more
