Excellent for working composition board and melamine, this bit cuts with an upward shearing action to prevent chipping & tearing of the bottom of veneer or coated material. Designe d primarily for production application where the router is below the work. Application: Same as down-shear router bit, but with up-shear design to pull chips away from the cut.
