Amarillo is an old school American hop variety. A dual purpose hop, as it can be used for bittering, flavour or aroma, but we feel Amarillo is best kept for flavour and aroma. It g ives an intense citrus aroma with hints of orange and tropical fruit. It can stand on it's own in a single hop beer or blend with other complimentary varieties. It's a classic American hop for a reason, but is just as happy in an IPA or Pale Ale as in an ESB or Wheat Beer. Show more
