Points are collected by earning "fruit" cards or the valuable Shaman card, which is worth 3 points all by itself.A players turn consists of three phases: Action phase in which you can choose Resource cards, Peril cards, or peek at the bottom of main decks to see what may be hiding there. Main phase in which you can choose to collect common cards(to gain 3 of a kind for special abilities) or "point" cards that get you closer to the win. Some resource cards allow you to do both in one turn. A player can manipulate decks with cards like "hideaway", "transport", or "explore" during this phase. Defense phase in which you can keep a deck "off limits" or limit your opponents options with "quicksand". The game invites imaginative play to form strategies, and tactical opportunities abound.
