The Amberola X iHORN is made from an Edison Victrola Phonograph, Amberola series. These were manufactured between 1911 and approximately 1926, when the Edison company failed. This horn was an internal speaker housed inside the Victrola wooden cabinet. The horn was originally painted with a wood grain faux finish, hand painted to match the wooden cabinet into which it was installed. By 1920, they have learned that fabric will not deaden the sound and all such horns are then black. The Amberola X packs a wallop of volume and tone. Show more
