This in person course introduces lay people and bodyworkers to the principles and practical applications of sound therapy using Nepalese singing bowls, gongs and other indigenous sound vibrational tools. Emphasizing the vibrational aspects of healing, you will explore the Biofield (electromagnetic field, or aura), chakras, and the role of sound and vibrational frequencies in restting the nervous system to default mode and release trapped emotions and physical stress. Through theory and hands-on practice, participants will learn to incorporate sound therapy into their meditation practice, bodywork sessions or develop a practice for letting go of stress and discursive thinking ethically and effectively.
