Ambrocenide is a woody amber chemical with a radiance almost impossible to believe. It can be used in the merest traces to add elegance and power but it also works surprisingly well in overdose (as evidenced by the Amrita demonstration formula below - Millennium Mysore Sandal Soap). We sell Ambrocenide as pure crystals or in a 10% solution with DPG making it easier to handle. According to Perfumery: Techniques in Evolution (a series of articles published in Perfumer and Flavorist magazine): “Ambrocenide is the best discovery in the amber-woody family […] since Ambrox was commercialised. The top note of Ambrocenide is radiant, diffusive, elegant, ambery, woody—indeed both precious, and unique.” Blends with Absolute Ambergris, Sandexol, Miraclewood, Iso E Super, Norlimbanol Dextro, Z11 MIP, Cetonal, the ionones and, in truth, almost everything.
