American Range AHS-4836 Gas Charbroilers Product Description The American Range AHS-4827 Horizontal Chicken Broiler is a high-performance appliance designed for busy commercial kit chens. Boasting 160,000 BTU of searing power and a stainless steel construction made in the USA, this broiler offers even heat distribution and exceptional durability. The two-piece set, which includes the broiler top and stand, comes equipped with 6-inch adjustable legs for easy installation and setup. Key Features: Four powerful 40,000 BTU burners, providing a total of 160,000 BTU (47 kW) for fast heating and even browning. Round, non-stick cooking grates that gently hold whole or spatchcock chickens without damaging the delicate skin. Open bottom grate design that creates an upward airflow for efficient fuel combustion and cleaner operation. Durable stainless steel exterior and interior liner that resist warping and protect against burnout. Adjustable stainless steel stand with 6-inch legs, providing the proper working height and required floor clearance. Convertible for use with natural gas or liquid propane (LP) gas, with a 3/4" NPT rear connection. ETL-Sanitation and cETLus listed, ensuring safety and sanitation compliance. Installation & Clearance: This appliance is designed for use on non-combustible floors only. It must be installed on a stand or with a 2-inch curb. If the appliance is placed next to non-combustible walls, there is no minimum clearance required. When the appliance is placed next to combustible walls, you must maintain a minimum clearance of 12 inches on the sides and 4 inches at the rear. This appliance must be installed under an approved commercial ventilation hood, as per the requirements of NFPA 96.
