Amethyst earrings on knotted silk. I love these beads, and as is often the case with gemstones, I have only been able to find this size, grade, and color once. So, I wanted to use what I have in a way that shows them best. I like to make earrings with gemstones because they allow the most light to pass through and show the deep colors and variation.
