Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. Such cuddly, well-stuffed toys are very popular with children and Ruth makes them as boys or girls, each with a knitted jumper/sweater or dress. The teddies are 170-200mm (7 - 8 inches) tall. To design your teddy, just choose the sex and yarn shade. The yarn used for the body of the teddies comes in a wide range of colours. To choose your colour, select "Light" or "Dark". The samples below display the sorts of dresses and jumpers/sweaters fitted to each teddy. Light body colours (pink, light blue, peach, cream and similar) are shown in the pictures below: Dark body colours (shades of brown, grey or navy) are shown in the pictures below: Each teddy is a unique and carefully selected combination of features. Your teddy is an individual with character! Teddy-sized carry bags are made of many different prints or quilted materials as shown in the picture below. After you make your purchase, we will select a matching carry bag for your teddy and ship it to you with his or her birth certificate: There's no doubt about it, a teddy made by Ruth makes a delightful gift.
