Built from solid poly lumber, it never needs paint. The shelf version opens the tower into display shelving - a 5' lighthouse on the outside, storage for planters, lanterns or beach finds on the inside. Choose a main and trim color below. The tower, lantern room and trim are cut from Tangent® HDPE poly lumber (95% recycled content) with the color molded all the way through - it won't rot, crack, peel or need painting, and it cleans up with soap and water. Choose any of 21 standard colors or 6 woodgrain colors (+10%) for the body and a second color for the trim, or pick one of 19 replica lighthouses from around the U.S. Lighting - what's included and the upgradesEvery lighthouse ships with a standard 25-watt bulb, socket and 8' cord - plug it into an outdoor outlet or extension cord and it lights. Optional upgrades: a dusk-to-dawn sensor that switches the light on automatically; an electric rotating beacon (36 rpm); a solar light kit with LED, ground spike and built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor - no cord needed; interior tower lighting so the windows glow as well as the top.
