This is a pattern to make an Amish doll and pocket friend. Traditionally the doll has no face as the Amish religion strictly forbid the use of "graven images". The doll comes with a pocket friend to keep her company. ********* The included pattern will require enlarging. This is easily done using a photocopier or using the traditional method. Sizing is clearly indicated. ********* This pattern cannot be enlarged satisfactorily using a computer. Finished size of the doll is approx. 58 cm tall. Pocket friend size is approx. 14.5 cm tall. Use up fabric scraps or remnants. This pattern is written in English. The second photograph shows the materials required to make the doll.
