The unique design of the Standard Scriber ensures clean smooth scribed lines. It can also be used for any other job that requires a fine-tipped tool, such as engraving stone or brick textures into Create Cork and Sculpt-Tech sculpting sheets. It can be used in plastic, PVC, wood, resin and other soft materials. **Not intended for metals, ceramic and other hard surfaces. We recommend using a slightly flexible metal ruler or hard plastic tape such as A.MIG-8246 Scribing Tape Hard Edge as a guide to ensure accuracy. USE: Start gently by applying very little pressure, and gradually add more pressure in successive passes to obtain the desired result.
