This astounding Ammonite, Euaspidoceras sp. is from the Late Jurassic Period, found near Sakaraha in Madagascar. This Ammonite, while alive would have resembled a squid with a shel l. The matrix on the end of this Ammonite includes 2 negative Ammonite imprints as well as 1 positive Ammonite. There are several positive and negative shell inclusions also. This Ammonite comes with a stand, made especially for it and the overall dimensions are, 1720mm tall, a base length of 760mm and a base width of 660mm. The Ammonite’s individual measurements are 800mm tall, 660mm wide and 330mm deep. This item can be viewed at our Exhibition Centre, which is located at 13 Olive Road, Devon Meadows, Victoria, Australia, 3977. Open hours are 10am until 5pm 7 days a week.
