Opalized Ammonite Crystal Slice Pair ~A beautiful example of the Fibonacci spiral exhibiting itself in nature, the Ammonite is a shelled nautilus that was part of a now extinct gro up of invertebrate marine animals. These Ammonite fossil specimens have been sliced directly in half and have a highly polished front and a raw back. The raw backside often has an opalized area with a unique rainbow sheen. These run in a wide range of golden color hues and intricate designs. Each one is natural and will have its own individual traits.
