This offering represents seed-grown plants from our 2005 expedition to North Vietnam. These plants are from Lai Chau Province along the road from Dien Bien Phu (where in 1954, the French got their butts kicked by the Vietnamese) to the town of Lai Chau. The 3' tall evergreen parent plant was growing in moist clay at 2352'. A. coaetaneus is an elegant plant with a shiny green leaf atop a solid green petiole. Show more
