Amplimune for Calves – MCWF Immunostimulant for E. coli K99 Scours Amplimune is a USDA-licensed immunotherapeutic treatment for neonatal calves 1 to 5 days of age. It is indicated for the reduction of mortality and clinical signs associated with calf scours caused by Escherichia coli (E. coli) K99. Amplimune contains mycobacterium cell wall fraction (MCWF), an immunostimulant that stimulates non-specific innate immune response early in the disease process. It is administered as a single 1 mL intravenous (IV) dose per calf.
