A new AMV LiGHT TECH Aluminium/Magnesium alloy allows tyres to heat up quickly. By minimising the volume of air in the tyre the Puma helps manage pressure changes in the tyre. This allows slightly higher than usual starting pressures to get the most out of opening laps yet limiting pressure related changes as the race progresses.
