Hiya, I’m Amy! I’m a Manchester-based electric and upright bass player, having recently graduated from the University of Manchester’s music course. I regularly perform at venues such as Band on the Wall, Matt & Phreds, The Bread Shed and YES and am a stylistically versatile bass player with a training in jazz and pop, currently gigging a variety of genres and acts in the Manchester music scene. I am also experienced in theatre work, currently on the dep list for Six the Musical UK Tour and gigging the North West amateur theatre circuit.I have been playing bass and performing in band settings for just over 10 years, and continue to refine my craft as a performer, musician and teacher. I am excited to offer lessons that encourage good technique, strong foundations and musicianship for beginner to advanced players.
