Description Light/Soil/Water Hardiness Anacampseros retusa is a small, compact succulent that forms tight rosettes of thick, triangular leaves with a smooth, glossy surface. The foliage displays soft green tones that can develop hints of pink or purple under bright light, giving the plant a subtle yet attractive coloration. As it matures, this variety produces offsets, gradually forming dense clusters that enhance its visual appeal in small containers and succulent arrangements. During the growing season, it may produce small, star shaped flowers in shades of pink or purple that open in sunlight. Bright Indoor Light, Full Sun. Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Zone 10
